Friendship and Forgiveness on Christmas – Christmas Card

Christmas is a time to hold loved ones close and be at peace with our neighbors. The fox is a natural predator of the mouse but in this illustration they are seen in a moment of peaceful friendship. They are framed by white fir pine needles, sprigs of spruce, and christmas roses, which seem to form a Christmas tree with the star of Bethlehem at the apex. The natural triangle shape of the typical Christmas tree can be interpreted as a Delta: a symbol of change.

The hand-drawn original design took nearly 20 hours to complete. The artwork began with a concept sketch, which was finalized with micron pen, colored with Prismacolor markers, and accented with white gel pen. The original was scanned and printed on matte cardstock by CatPrint LLC of Rochester, NY. They specialize in high-quality printed products and also foster cats!

Each 5″x7″ card is blank inside, with blank white envelopes and matching sticker seals (randomly selected from a few different designs.) Singles and three-packs are protected with plastic sleeves. Six-packs and twelve-packs are in protective plastic boxes.
