Vendor Table Experience

Crazdude has vended at over 50 conventions since the start of her business in 2016 and has grown from a meager 3ft x 3ft artist alley table to 6ft tables, and 8ft x 8ft booths. For some conventions, she sells more comfortably with a larger 12ft display along with the sales assistance of her husband ‘Stromie’. A version of each size of her current display is showcased in the gallery below.

Guest of Honor + Featured Artist Appearances

FurXoticon 2017

Crazdude was nominated to be Guest of Honor for the post-apocalyptic “Mutation Nation” theme.

She created five custom artistic liberty traditional art illustrations with Prismacolor marker and Micron pens to be used for the con badges (one for each of the four registration levels) and one for the con book cover.

She hosted a Marker Art panel and was featured prominently in the dealers den. This event was regretfully the first and only time Crazdude could attend as it was the last year that FurXoticon was held.

Fursonacon 2019

Crazdude was selected to be Guest of Honor for the 80’s futuristic/Vaporwave theme.

For the 2019 event in Virgina Beach, Virginia, she created two unique designs for the convention’s use. Two artistic liberty standing banners were created digitally in Adobe Illustrator, printed for signage during the event, then auctioned off at the end of the con for charity. She also created two vector illustrated badges for attendees and staff.

Because of her interest in helping fellow artists grow a successful business around their creations, she hosted an Art Business panel. She also had the pleasure of judging the dance competition and was featured prominently in the dealers den.

Furthemore 2020

Crazdude was selected to be Guest of Honor for the “Boldly Going Forward” space exploration theme.

For the 2020 event in the convention’s new venue of Crystal City, Virginia, she created two unique designs for use by Furthemore. She digitally painted the galaxy illustration adorned with the theme logo on the hotel key card and created an illustration in Adobe Illustrator of Furthemore’s mascot Quoth that was used for convention signage, con book cover, and sponsor gifts. She then made an alternate version of the Quoth illustration that was simplified for cost-efficient screen-printing for the convention theme shirt design.

New Years Furry Ball 2024

In 2023, Crazdude was honored to be commissioned by The Furst State organization of Delaware to be the Featured Artist for their New Years Furry Ball 2024 event. The colorful and festive theme of Candy Shop gave her the opportunity to showcase their Blue Hen mascot Dewey among fun props and color schemes to combine the irresistibly sweet diversity of candy with the annual tradition of celebrating the end of the year and welcoming the next.

Assignments for themed merchandise and labeling included 1 full-color attendee badge, 1 full-color standing banner design, 1 full-color convention book cover (both front and back), 1-color shirt design, 1-color convention theme logo for use on shot glass and other themed merchandise.

Convention Staff Artwork Contributions

In 2018, Crazdude had the pleasure of being recruited as convention art staff to create an inviting crew of creatures to serve as signage at CanFURence in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The characters depicted are lovingly called the #canfursonas on social media!
